Terms of Use - Model Builders

Welcome to 4C. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our platform as a model builder. By uploading your predictive models to 4C, you agree to be bound by these terms.

Responsibilities of Model Builders

  • Accuracy and Credentials:
    • You are solely responsible for the historical accuracy of your predictive models.
    • You are responsible for providing and verifying your credentials. 4C does not check or verify the credentials of model builders.
    • 4C takes no responsibility for the accuracy, reliability, or performance of your models.
  • Ownership and Rights:
    • Once your model is uploaded to 4C, it becomes the property of 4C. You relinquish all rights to the model, including but not limited to intellectual property rights.
    • You will not have any rights to the model after it is uploaded, except for the potential earnings based on follower metrics as described below.
  • Compensation:
    • For every additional 1,000 followers your model gains, you will be compensated $1,000.
    • Compensation is calculated based on incremental 1,000 follower milestones. For example:
      • 4,766 followers will result in $4,000.
      • 1,000,000 followers will result in $1,000,000 in total.

Payment Terms

  • Earnings Disbursement:
    • Payments will be made based on the number of additional followers accrued.
    • Payments will be processed and disbursed on a regular schedule as determined by 4C.
    • 4C reserves the right to withhold payments if fraudulent activity or manipulation of follower counts is suspected

Liability and Indemnity

  • No Liability:
    • 4C is not liable for any losses or damages resulting from the use or performance of your predictive models.
    • You agree to indemnify and hold harmless 4C, its affiliates, and its users from any claims, liabilities, or expenses arising from your models or breach of these terms.
  • No Warranty:
    • 4C provides no warranty, express or implied, regarding the performance or reliability of the platform or the predictive models.

Termination

  • Termination of Access:
    • 4C reserves the right to terminate your access to the platform at any time for any reason, including but not limited to breach of these terms or misuse of the platform.
  • Effect of Termination:
    • Upon termination, you will lose access to any uploaded models and any associated earnings not yet disbursed.

Intellectual Property

  • Content Ownership: All content on the 4C platform, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of 4C or its content suppliers and is protected by international copyright laws.
  • User Content: By posting content on 4C, you grant 4C a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, and worldwide license to use, reproduce, modify, publish, and distribute such content.

Changes to Terms

4C may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by posting the new terms on our platform. Your continued use of the platform after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which 4C operates, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
